Director Qualifications

We create opportunities for directors who are ready to direct major films, commercials and television projects. To qualify, during our open enrollment period, submit a two minute video explaining why you believe you should be spotlighted as a director ready to work on a major feature film or series. You must also meet at least one of the following criteria:

All directors will be hand selected and must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Have a reputable agent or management representation and examples of your work
Have a letter of recommendation from one of our partner organizations or film professional and examples of your work
Must have directed at lease 3 short films approved by Open Door Film Development
